Its prize peak is Mont Blanc, which, at 4,807 m (15,771 ft), is Western Europe's highest mountain and spectacular backdrop for our circuit of this magnificent mountain massif over 10-12 days covering around 170km (105) miles with an accumulated height gain and loss of about 10000m (32800ft).
