Our summer holiday programme for 2011 includes a wide selection of trips for family and adult groups of varying difficulty including alpine trekking in the Alps, Via Ferrata climbing in the Dolomites, Lake District adventure trips and multi-activity short breaks and holidays in Slovenia.
Our multi-activity trips are based in the stunning surroundings of Triglav National Park in the Soca Valley which is a perfect location for adventure activities including white water rafting and mini-rafting, kayaking, canyoning, day/night canoeing, mountain biking, horse riding, tandem paragliding, caving, mountain walking and the ultimate adrenalin rush: hydrospeeding the rapids of the emerald green Soca river. Slovenia has an abundance of natural features, from stunning rivers and waterfalls, the high peaks of the Julian Alps, beautiful valleys, karst caves and pristine forests. This region offers excellent value for money as one of the lowest priced destinations in the EU and is an ideal place for adult and family groups to enjoy an adventure holiday in a still relatively un-commercialised part of Western Europe.
Similarly the Dolomites, just over the Slovene/Italian border, are an impressive mountain range which offer a multitude of outdoor based holidays for the active and adventurous - be it trekking, climbing, cycling, water-based activities or plain old sightseeing - this beautiful area of southern Europe is full of potential as a getaway for families, couples and groups of friends alike.
