The team celebrate on the summit of Snowdon
Our first corporate group event of 2010 was a team from United Biscuits. 16 people from the popular snacks company took on the challenge as a charity fundraising event. They raised a fantastic £7000 for Lifeblood, the Thrombosis charity, which was an important cause to them as they had lost a colleague the previous year to heart disease.
The weekend saw beautiful weather and everyone had a great time. Although some people found the event hard and had to turn back before reaching the summit of some of the peaks 10 people managed to complete the event successfully.
