Price from: £299.00

A cross between hill walking and rock climbing...
Not for the faint hearted, scrambling is the most exciting way to ascend and descend mountains. If you like the thrill of a steep ridge and exposed slope then this is the activity for you!

- Highlights
- More fun than walking
- Lake District mountains
- Exciting ascents/descents
- Thrilling experience
- Steep slopes
Scrambles are graded on a scale from 1 to 3:
Grade 1 involves steep and often exposed ground; unlikely to need a rope but good route choice and navigation are important.
Grade 2 requires the use of a rope and some elementary rock climbing skills to negotiate steeper sections of gulley and ridges.
Grade 3 requires good route planning and navigation skills. The ground can be steep with precipitous edges so we use rope and rock climbing gear for added safety.
