The Highland region is one of Europe's most unspoilt scenic regions, a rugged landscape of imposing mountain ranges, sheltered fertile glens and scattered offshore islands. Shaped over aeons by geological faults, scouring glaciers and Atlantic weather, the area offers an unsurpassed variety for walkers of all levels. For peace and tranquillity amidst a breathtaking setting this is beyond equal anywhere in the UK.
These walks have been selected for their majestic scenery, quality and wide-ranging diversity. The routes have been chosen for their outstanding quality and manageability within a single day or less and these are amongst the finest mountain walks to be had anywhere in the world. Each walk is unique, and although the nature and difficulty of some routes are aimed at the 'average hill walker' there are outings here which range through all degrees of difficulty.
At the top end of the scale the Buachaille Etive Mor and An Teallach offers Scrambling Grade 3 with considerable exposure and requirement for basic climbing and ropework skills. At the easier end, The Three Sisters of Kintail and Arkle/Foinaven Traverse provide straightforward though infinitely more sublime experience.
Our Wilderness Mountain packages are all inclusive and are designed for small groups with busy lifestyles who want to be professionally guided in safety with everything organized. Packages include accommodation, outdoor equipment, transport and trained mountain guide.
